Wandsworth Conservatives are on a campaign to improve Clapham Junction Station and make it a better place for passengers.
Many people use Clapham Junction Station daily, however those that are disabled, carrying luggage or travelling with children are at a disadvantage. There is no access to the platforms other than climbing up huge stairways.
Wandsworth Conservatives are campaigning for the rights of these passengers as well as pushing for other improvements at the station, such as Oyster prepay and reduced ticket queuing times.
We have been trying to find out what local commuters really want, and have been circulating a short survey so as we can truly represent your views. So far these are the issues that are really coming to the fore.
Passengers have said they would like to be able to use Oyster pre-pay to cut down the queues at the station and costs of travel.
They also feel that staffing at the station is inadequate. The low numbers of staff on nights and weekends in particular creates an unfriendly environment for passengers.
Wandsworth Conservatives are determined to campaign for improvements at Clapham Junction station on your behalf.
Click here to take our survey and let us know what you want from your local station.
